D’Amato Records Assumingly D’Amato Records is actually the oldest record store in the world. Established in 1885, D'Amato Records is running business for over 130 years now and is the number one address for music in Valetta. In 1931 the first recordings of Maltese music were produced and manufactured by D'Amato. Today the store’s selection encompasses thousands of CD's and DVD's and, of course, vinyl records.
