Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM and its infamous RJ Jeeturaaj who with his high voltage breakfast show, Hi Mumbai beat all other jocks hands down!
RJ Jeeturaaj knows Mumbai by its pulse. He is voice that Mumbai wakes up to by capturing various shades of the city. Be it the festivities or politics, transportation to traffic issues, no topic is a small topic for this power packed voice of Mumbai. With peppy music and informative conversations, RJ Jeeturaaj’s voice sets the tone for the city. For his victory, Jeeturaaj will get an opportunity to host his uber popular show, Hi Mumbai from Zurich.
Jeeturaaj will get an opportunity to showcase their music radio show ‘live on air’ to an international audience in Europe. The fest is scheduled to be held from 4-8 September 2013, in the magnificent castle SchlossSihlberg in Zurich.
Elated RJ Jeeturaaj says, “It is always good to get an appreciation for your work! It goes to show that there is something that you are doing is good and is working for your show and the audiences. I am really humbled with this success. Being the voice of India on an international platform is intimidating, but I am going to do my best and entertain Zurich just the way I do each day on Hi Mumbai.”
Talking about Jeeturaaj’s victory Preeti Nihalani, Cluster Head–Mumbai, Radio Mirchi says, “We at Radio Mirchi Mumbai are so excited about being chosen to represent India at an international forum. We have been Mumbai’s favorite radio station! But this win we are now the country’s best station. The show has done really well over the years. This success is a pat on our backs and a motivation to keep doing better each day. From everyone at the studio and the Radio Mirchi, I would like to congratulate Jeeturaaj on this victory!”
Radioandmusic.com founder Anil Wanvari says, “We are delighted with the response from radio stations, radio jocks and producers. Like last year, we were flooded with entries. Through a multi-layered filtration and selection process both in India and Zurich, Jeeturaaj came out way ahead of the rest thanks to his high energy, his humour, his sense of timing, his music repertoire, and his sheer ability to pace the show, to get audiences to interact and stay engaged. He has all the qualities of a world class RJ. We are very proud to have him as the Indian radio ambassador at the IRF this year.”
Adds IRF festival Co-Founder Darryl von Daniken: “We are delighted to partner with radioandmusic.com and RJ Jeeturaajrepresents the aspirations and mood of most of India. The IRF loved the energy in his voice and his show. Going forward, we expect more Indian jocks to participate in the contest and represent India at the IRF.”
