United DJs

In 2018 Tony Prince and a powerful team of DJs who were unhappy with the state of radio, launched their new streaming radio station, uniteddj.com, a radio station packed with broadcasting legends who hail from every corner of the planet. There are 8 former BBC Radio DJs, 12 Radio Luxembourg DJs and pirate radio legends including the Emperor Rosko and Tony himself who was a Radio Caroline pirate who went on to spend 16 years with Radio Luxembourg. In total 34 DJs are producing shows for UDJ with live Breakfast Show from Mike Read, Tony Blewitt from South Africa, Russ 'Big Daddy' Horton from Canada. Kid Jensen's Dimensions has made a return and Dave Lee Travis has re-established himself. Tony explains: "When I heard that streaming was being installed into new cars, it reminded me of the time FM took out AM or the Sony Walkman took out the Cassette player.  I always enjoyed pioneering in the DJ world and that's what uniteddj.com is doing.  We have free music format for every DJ and our team love what they are doing". In the first month the station attracted 30,000 unique listeners.
