The Global Audio Conference
Celebrating the world's most sociable medium - music radio.
The IRF Audio Conference represents the first and only global radio industry gathering to showcase and debate the business and curation of audio content, exploring the way broadcasting organisations, large and small, are tackling the changing nature of audio consumption; alongside the challenges and opportunities of podcasting and on-demand audio, with industry experts and leaders from broadcasters, production and technology companies sharing their vision for the digital age.
Youth development and community channels plays an essential part to the unique knowledge sharing environment created by the IRF. The conference analyses the rise of niche-format radio stations, and the unique challenges of serving listeners across different media cultures. Attendees gain from the experience and vision from leading producers at the forefront of creating sound art and audio branding, and those spearheading blockchain in the broadcasting and music business. In 2018 the IRF Conference took place within the stunning surroundings of Valletta, European Capital of Culture 2018!
