The International Radio Festival (IRF) represents the world’s first such business to business conference and public festival event format, offering all music industry professionals and consumer brands with a vested interest in the worlds most consumed and influential medium, a unique platform to break new artists, sell music, and influence consumer habits whilst engaging with both a qualitative business audience, as well as a quantitative consumer audience consisting of potentially billions of listeners worldwide
In 2010, the Festival’s first year, 25 radio stations invested their trust in the Festival’s ethos and visited Zurich to participate in the world’s first ever International radio Festival. The uniqueness of the Festival was in the making and the Festival’s 2nd edition in 2011 could welcome even more radio stations, this time over 50 stations participated and 75 music programmes were showcased “Live On-Air” across the world to almost 7mil listeners, allowing all those tuned-in the rare opportunity to “Listen to how the world sounds”.
The IRF is a must attend for all Music Radio Professionals, Radio Jockeys and DJ’s alike, Record Labels, Music Managers & Agents, Lifestyle Brands, Marketing & Advertising Agencies, Media Professionals and Educational Establishments, with a vested interest in the world’s most consumed medium, music radio.
Those who attend the Festival benefit from the rare chance to meet with like-minded music radio-makers/creators and music industry professionals to network, knowledge-share and exchange music radio formats.
And the Festival’s exclusive B2B Forum is rapidly establishing itself as the think-tank and exchange hub for both the players in music radio as well as all music related industries. Attendees gain the opportunity to develop closer business and cultural relationships within this specialised industry.
The third edition of the International Radio Festival will take place in Zurich 13-16 September 2012. The full programme, dates and line-up will be released in early Spring 2012. Stay tuned for more infos.
