The IRF “ON-AIR” Awards underpin the Festival’s goal to celebrate the very best in global music radio programming, and through these awards the IRF wishes to honour those radio makers who push the boundaries in music radio entertainment.

The Board of the International Radio Festival is delighted to name the following radio makers and stations as winners of the 2012 International Radio Festival ON-AIR Awards.

• Best Swiss Radio Show – DRS3 SOUNDS
  
• Best International Radio – Radio Sonica Ibiza
  
• Best International Radio Show – Sunny Side Up by FM4
  
• Lifetime Achievement Award – Robert Kraft, President Fox Music
  
• IRF Special Commendation for 2012 – Ghetto Radio Ghana
